| Hi,
my name is Amber, I'm 17.
I'm
a senior at the Orange County High
School of the Arts (OCHSA) a private chartered school in Santa
Ana, California catering to students with interest in the arts. The school
is right in the heart of Santa Ana's wonderful new cultural arts center
and village.
My
school day consists of five hours of academics followed by three hours
of Commercial Dance Conservatory. I studied Classical / Contemporary dance
in my sophomore year.. It makes for a long day but I'm having the time
of my life!
In
the summer of 2001 I earned a full scholarship to the Ailey School of Dance
in New York City. I attended their two month intensive dance program in
Manhattan while living in a Long Island University dormitory in Brooklyn.
Walking and subways became a way of life during my stay.
Besides
dance, I have my hope set on becoming an accomplished fashion designer.
I already design and make many of my outfits and formals.
I have
a very cool 15 year old brother named Michael and a mom and dad who love
me very much.
In
the following pages, you will learn a little about my love of dance of
course, but also the details of my life, including family, friends and
interests.
